Anyway here goes. You do not spin at a straight-line speed, but with angular velocity. The Earth spins at 15 degrees/hour so if you are in the South Pole you do not move at all, just spin. On the Equator you could think of it as a motion but it is not a straight line as you will be back tomorrow, obviously. The centrifugal force is actually measurable, but it is soooo slow in terms of change of direction, only one degree in four minutes. It is hal;f the speed pf an hour hand on a clock, can you get that in terms of thinking? If you sit down and look at an hour hand on a clock, it is not that exciting, it is half that speed.
